Beautification Projects
Many of the beautification projects done by the society are easily noted. Members take pride in the improvements made to enhance the beauty of the cemetery.

Stone Cleaning
Starting on Saturday, April 15 the Society will be cleaning stones in the cemetery on third Saturday each month at 9 am. Many stones are in need of cleaning. It's not a hard task, but does require a bit of time and effort.
Bring a small bucket and soft bristle brush and join us at the flag pole in the cemetery! Need more info, contact us.

Ella's Bouquet

Veterans Memorial
The area around the Veterans Memorial has been landscaped! The grey granite monument is now easily distinguishable from the surrounding gravestones.
Funding for the project was provided by Ivie League Homes of Wright City. When the Board of Aldermen gave the Society its approval to landscape the area, Billy Ivie and Kim Fast of Ivie League Homes immediately offered to fund the entire project.
The Society extends its sincere appreciation to the company for its generous donation. If you see Billy or Kim, we encourage you to also tell them “thank you”.
The Veterans Memorial monument was erected by the former V.F.W. Post 10687 of Wright City and was dedicated during the Post’s annual Memorial Day services in 2006.
Society members will care for the shrubs and flowers and maintain the site.
